YujiSpeak is a language currently in early development by Yuji Tomita.
It differs from common tongue in that sentences are often not composed as a stand alone (closed) communication device. This is particularly evident when a user of the language stops in the middle of a sentence, often leaving his/her listeners dazed and confused. In YujiSpeak, this behavior is normal.
Sentences in YujiSpeak are to understood more as fragments of the whole. One must not take the words literally, but piece together which words have been chosen to express some vague thought.
The unique characteristics of YujiSpeak tend to stand out when expressing abstract thoughts.
It is believed that these characteristics are derived from the way users processes information. Users come to conclusions based on many different factors weighing in at once, thus causing the difficulty in explaining simplistically “why X is Y”.
Basically, X is Y not because of 3 things, but 50 things which each interact with another in some way. For the typical user, determining which reason is most important, and which one is easiest to convey, causes mild dementia substantially reducing his/her effectiveness in speech.
In the interest of sanity, users typically eschew expressing abstract thoughts.
